There are loads of designs I like but only one I would actually want.

Dominus pour moi.
JCBeastie 8th February 2011, 14:37 Quote
Only one that appealed aesthetically to me was Dominus, and upon further reading discovering the reconfigurable nature and just plain elegent design work that's gone it I have to say that is definately my number one!

Very impressive stuff.

They all have their flaws actually and it's really hard to vote based on the question: "Which one has the smallest amount of flaws?".

In the end I eventually decided not to vote at all.

Anyways, keep it going ladies ;)

All the designs are cool. Thanks to everyone who took part and to all who helped me! I hope the voting turns out good!

Great designs everyone! Very hard to choose 5. I hope we get to see all of them made whether Phobya makes them or not!

Good luck to all!

You're welcome!

As for voting, I think a week is long enough so voting will end at 23:59 next Sunday. That should give everyone the chance to have a good look at the article and the Stage 2 design thread if necessary. Stage 3 will hopefully start some time next week!

ooh aah. hope I get through. Thank you Combatus and Aquatuning and Phobya for this contest! It was really fun! It still is, but only stressing me out. hehe.

It one gets 2nd or 3rd place, can you take you design, or does Phobya/Aquatuning own it?

I want to add my thanks to Bit-tech, Aquatuning, and Phobya for the opportunity!

I also want to commend everyone involved because there really is a huge amount of effort being put into every design shown here.

Good work people!

Some really great ideas in there, and the standard of design is outstanding! It was very difficult to short list 5. Good luck all of you.

Maybe it is me, but the poll is said to be closed on march 8th (see above the voting results)

There's no average case among these...if I were hardcore Starcraft fan I'd grab Photon, it looks like some protoss device :)

Some really professional design work in there, must have been really fun for you guys to be able to put you minds to work on something that might actually go into production! Great idea for a competition too.

You will not be able to vote on polls in the Article Discussion forum until you have been a member for at least 2 weeks or have made 15 posts.

Ummm... I registered in December so that I could vote in this competition, but the poll is still locking me out. Maybe the rule is actually set to be two weeks and 15 posts?

I was greatly impressed by the improvement in these cases from round 1. Good stuff!
M7ck 8th February 2011, 18:03 Quote
Voted!

Every single case is absolutely amazing but case design is subjective and I found it easy to pick an outright favourite. Second to fifth was difficult but got there in the end.

Just changed this - we don't need that long obviously. I've given it six days so it will be ending on 14th February.
