As it's already been explained, you all just registered so you have no voting privileges yet. It's an attempt to stop all the vote-padding that tends to occur each round.
Tachikoma is my favorite, C&C War Factory, my second. Then P0pe's work. My girlfriend's in love with that robot; as a graphic designer, she loves the C&C critter, too.
The architecturally antiseptic work is excellent as well -- it serves not warmth but idealism. "Builds like a surgeon" was a high (and accurate) compliment.
All of the entries are gorgeous and ingenious. If I'd known people here did work of this caliber, I doubt I'd have shown my mug!
haha:P nothing worse than the fokes who calls up all their mates and goes like: "oh get inthere and vote for meee!!!" people will vote for the mod they find the coolest.. everything else is bullshit

So your saying the vote should be limited to Bit-Tech regulars only? That's going to be a bit of a limited competition...
The mod was well documented on other forums too, and received much support there, so what's the problem with people who like his mod coming over here and building up enough posts to be allowed to vote for him?

everyone can call up 30 friends and have them vote for one by joining the forum. but if we all did that it wouldnt be a competition would it then? i have seen people before logging on other forums just to pull votes, with sig lines like "plz go vote for my mod on bit-tech!"
this time the competition is hard and i love all of the mods! especially Tachikoma. thats quality work and the efford put into that is amazing.

The thing is you mod is damned good, and stands a great chance.
All we want is that each vote is based on the quality of the work, not nepotism.
