the Bioshock case looks SICK!!!!
i normally go for the most modded but this one has my vote just on the airbrushing skill.

If you haven't seen the LUMINA worklog, you owe it to yourself The craftsmanship is top-notch. The Candy Cube would be my case of choice if I was thinking about my own system, but Lumina gets my vote. GJ to all the contestants.

I'm a sucker for a good Apple case conversion, a true mod.
Quote sethnmalice 29th November 2007, 04:46
Lumina got my vote, that case is pure pwn, sleek lines, i just love how it all comes together like a perfect unit should, great job!!!!!.
Quote Brett89 29th November 2007, 05:56
very tough, not a huge fan of acrylic, although you HAVE to appreciate the craftsmanship of the Lumina case, the paintjob on the TJ07 was amazing, but I voted Angel, I love G5 mods, and the execution is great.

Lumina is amazing imho always loved plexi and light!! :D
Quote m4rk3d 29th November 2007, 18:57
Lumina gets my vote, finally a plexi case that looks like more than a fishtank with a bunch of hardware thrown inside :)

The Bioshock one is great too, but the workmanship and attention to detail that's gone into Lumina just swings it for me.

My vote goes to LUMINA for flawless design and professional execution. BioShock comes in a close 2nd but for me a sick paint job alone doesn't do the trick
Quote RJacobsen 1st December 2007, 11:01
Bioshock is nice but too little modding, so my vote is for Lumina

I'm in awe that I was even nominated... For me, that's a huge compliment! Thx to all that have voted for me, and to all who have left a note in my log. Congrats on the nomination for you 4 other guys in the competition! Great work all! :)

i voted for lumina, but i kind of feel guilty now. i really like angel's G5 case - that is some true modding talent to move all those ports on the back.

I vote for Lumina.
Quote radodrill 2nd December 2007, 02:35
Had to go with Lumina and support a fellow Acrylic case designer

always hard to make up my mind.
Quote Rodrigo Vicentini 9th December 2007, 13:04
that month this difficult one to vote for, I had to choose between lumina or Airbrushed BioShock, Airbrushed BioShock is a great painting work, but the lumina for it being totally done home deserves the vote, lumina is a beautiful project.
Quote MJudg 9th December 2007, 21:45
I cant believe the LUMINA project!! Its PERFECT execution makes up my mind this is the BEST mod Ive seen ever!! Considering all the work for the REAL building project, LUMINA deserves to win, unquestionably! I also loved the Bioshock airbrush but only one feature is not enough! LUMINA has much more features, including VGA and PSU! Congrats all finalists but honestly if I could, LUMINA would have my vote! It deserves to be the Mod of the Year! ;)

Count another vote for Lumina

Tottaly agreed!

The lumina case was built from zero! No way a good paint job could beat a "WHOLE" project. Besides, we are voting for a "CASEMOD" not a paint job. Just the PSU kill all the work on Bioshock. Sorry if i am being so sincere, but Bioshock would be the last one i would vote. Not because it's not good (au contraire), but because i don't think it fits this contest.

Now the poll is over...
Big Thanks for all votes! I am very honored with this victory! And even more, to notice my work has really pleased you!
Congrats all finalists!

For sure! The MSI P35 Platinum has a pretty design, its black PCB with cooper heatsink were “specially made” for Lumina! After installing it I will take some pictures! BIG Thanks for the sponsors of the MOTM contest: MSI, A.C.Ryan and Bit-Tech!
