And I like the tip of the plasterstuff covering the eps so it won't melt... didn't know that

I can only pray that that thing will survive shipping. ;)

Great work so far, I just hope it goes to someone with the necessary space for this monster. :)
Quote mclean007 12th April 2007, 15:05
If I win, since I don't have space, I'm going to have to get all sacriligeous and strip out the hardware into a normal (read: boring) case, then auction the ACU for charity :(

Or maybe sell the whole thing, buy a normal rig with the cash, and give any leftovers to charity.

I am drowning in my own drool right now.

Can't wait to see what's next (and of course to see if I won)

I wonder if it will be disassembled for shipping.

Jesus, that looks sweet, show us more :'(
Quote eddtox 12th April 2007, 16:27
If i win, I'm going to knock down my kitchen to make room for this monster... meh, it's not like I'll have much time to cook when i get my teeth stuck into Supreme Commander :P. Anyone for a takeaway?

:) @ first part (you're not the only one)

As for your question I've wondered that too but see no hint of that. I sure hope the arms come off for moving.

Phenomenal build GoTaLL

wow. nice.

What more can you say?
Quote LAGMonkey 12th April 2007, 17:51
stunning. absolutly stunning and im desperatly trying to get my E-mail client back up and running so i can enter the damm competition! I cant believe this has been under my radar for so long!

You know what would make it even MORE stable... Water cool the PC inside the chest cavity and then have the Res's in the feet. Water down in the feet = stable robot. And then you can make use of the "Groin Vents" as the Rad's can go in the codpiece

Holy Mother of modding! That's In-freaking-sane.

HAHAHA, that's about what I was thinking too!
Quote Mathmarauder 12th April 2007, 18:26
Extra tricks up his sleeve better mean nerf dart launchers in the arms, man that would be awesome. :D
Quote GoTaLL 12th April 2007, 18:34
:)
Quote trig 12th April 2007, 18:35
im betting (hoping) the extra tricks are indicative of some type of water-cooling setup.
Quote Jipa 12th April 2007, 18:38
Hueg! Hardly practical, but what the heck, atleast it looks as the original thing and.. ummh. And... Has taken some serious effort with knife&foam! Damn your house must be full of that lovely foam-trash.
Quote sunny_man 12th April 2007, 19:50
Damn, I appreciate this a lot more now that I've seen (partly) how it's been made. Can't wait for the next instalment!
Quote Blademrk 12th April 2007, 20:03

This is why people like you "No offence or anything" should not win this.

Someone with a big room should, or someone with space to say the least. I have a massive room where my PC is "30ft - 18ft", and it would be ideal here, someone with a small room is just going to rip everything out into a normal case. That just makes all the hardwork from Bit-Tech go to waste.
Quote GoTaLL 12th April 2007, 22:40
Well it would kinda hurt my feelings abit if the "case" was not used.. :(
