Ah, I was waiting for this one; it's easily one of the best scratch case mods I've seen.

awesome mod! Like the theming. Are the drives hotswaps?
Quote Bluephoenix 26th February 2007, 12:54
whatever happened to the orange acrylic back I/O plate and PCI slot covers I read about in the log awhile back, seems to me they should have been included in the shots for full effect.

that said, Awesome Mod!

Good question. Actually, I ran out of orange acrylic (And so did my local supplier), so I had to prioritize. Therefore I had to leave them.

Hi Im from Spain and I was quite surprise when you said that bending didnt require heat? What kind of acrylic are you using or how do you do it?

Im trying to build an acrylit case, kind of a cube with rounded corners and I was about to try with heat. Please email me or help me with it, will you?

Thanks a lot

Awesome look, and I really like the drop-in hard drive idea, but why not SATA so they could actually be hot-swappable? The other advantage of SATA is that notebook SATA drives have the exact same connectors, so you can easily plug a lappy drive into your PC if you need to pull data off it or repair something :)

Building a case from scrach must be crazy to do :D there are so many calculatons and mesurments to make, I would go insane doing that :( but in the end you cam out sane and with a great case that anyone would be proud of

i think you are the best moder on this site, not being offensive to others, i am no-where-near as good as any of you, but i just like the way your mods fit, the cold fusion was my favorite, now this...
Quote The_Beast 30th November 2007, 22:19
