Marvellous mod, and lovely to see on the front page too. I never get time to read all the logs so stuff like this is a real treat :)
And BTW, I've taken this this beast to a LAN-party once, not recommended at all (it weighs 38kg!)... :D
Maybe you should change those feets to some wheels :D

The transformation from what he started with and the end product is atstonishing, great work.

It's cool how you can change the outlook of a case via just covering it with pre-cut stainles steel panels. Tho it looks pretty neat I'm worried about the acryl on the front :|

I have one regret about this project - after spending a lot of cash on all the hardware, the mod parts and the laser cutting, I didn't actually have enough money left to buy a decent watercooling kit! This means that I have lots of neatly routed hosing around the case, but no components inside. Oh well, maybe next time!

Damm thats really got to rip your undies. Very nice thou

Extremely good for his very first case mod! :o The mix of stainless steel laser cuts and acrylic really worked well for him!

Love that dark shot, all around great work!! I know what you mean by price, I priced a mod out once and the STARTING cost was around $3500. That doesnt include all the stuff one ends up getting during the mod.

Can't help myself but it's like Orac taken to another level. Great work! ;)
And did I miss it or has there been no list of the hardware included?
Sleepstreamer 14th November 2006, 09:53 Quote
You are absolutely right, there is'nt...

P4E 3.0
1 Gb DDR400
1x36GB Raptor, 2x250GB WD
Tagan 580W Easycon series
Gigabyte GA-81PE1000 Pro2-W (s478)
Leadtek Nvidia GeForce 6800LE (fully unlocked)

Not very hot stuff, but hey, it works for me :)

Kick Arse mod all day long true talent,Any one agree with me that it's up there with Orac and the rest ?
Tyinsar 14th November 2006, 19:44 Quote
No offence intended (this is a great mod) but Orac3 is in a totally different league. This is very nice looking but it's a skin on a case with nowhere near the same level of interior detail (at least not yet).

Go back and have another look at Orac3 (link to part 1 of 5)

I have no objections to that :)

the exterior looks real nice..... it could be part of the Quake 4 interior in the nexus hub....

I hope you'll continue on the inside :) and that you'll win the lottery for some WC stuff ;)

From the work you have already done, I have no doubt that if you did a part two to this (mainly what you might have done inside if had the re$ources) it would be raised to a whole other level.

The good news is that the attention you get here may also get you a sponsor for the next project. (if you're lucky and make the right connections)

Nice looking mod.

Just need to fit a real cold fusion device inside the case.
