Awesome job matey.

I wouldn't be too suprised if this mod did turn up on a big TV show.

Maybe see it on Lost :p
Quote Marquee 6th June 2006, 05:35
Thats a great mod. One day I will do one better when laser tools become house hold tools like srew driver. LOL
Quote automagsrock 6th June 2006, 05:53
Wow man that thing is amamzing. It is insane at how much that looks more like a real WMD then some cheap Hollywood model. One question though, Can we see it all lit up in the dark? :D:D:D:D

Oh and BTW, we have a "Big Kev" here in the USA. His name is Billy Mays, except he isn't screaming, more like talking with a raised tone of voice about cleaning products :)

Great work mate. another brilliant mod from a brilliant aussie artist. showing the rest of the world what an engineering driven country can do.

Afew more details of the water cooling system would have been nice. we all saw the custom rad, but how about the waterblocks, fittings, and that awesome red tubing that was running everywhere. the write up just kinda skipped over those bits. either way great work.

Since it is in storage, you wanna lend it to me?? :) i only live 2 hours south, i could even come pick it up!................(kidding)

Great work mate.

Brilliant. I've said before I like it and I like it even more now.

But where are the pictures of it working - the counter, the lights etc? The resevoirs are all mysteriously empty in the photos too.
Quote khendjara'aro 6th June 2006, 08:38
my brain is breaking at how amazing this is. to call it a "mod" isn't really even right, the amount of work he put into this to design, build, and and execute this is staggering. completely from scratch, even. mind blowing.

and here i was thinking i was going to soon start building a new case, this makes me not even want to try because there's NO way it could even come close :|
Quote Spaced_invader 6th June 2006, 09:38
i wanna see what happens when you try and ship it past customs lol

If James Bond walked in on that unawares, he'd get that dark brown feeling...

Phenomenal fusion of vision, dedication and craftsmanship.

Eagerly awaiting your next creation.

That is an amazing piece of work amazing. Personally I prefer Orac 3 but this takes nothing away from how great this is. I look forward to the next Rig.

I cant add any words that have not already been said except....GET IT OUT OF STORAGE!
Quote Starbuck3733T 6th June 2006, 18:54
Great article and writeup... many skills to be respected. One thing I found fault in - No powered up shots? no coolant in? no VIDEO??!?! :(
Quote 1337sauce 6th June 2006, 22:19
my dream mod....*drools*
Quote HighWire 7th June 2006, 01:27
Dont drive around with it in the back of ur car... People might spontaniously jump away if they see that thing sitting at the back :)

Great work otherwise, absolutly stunning job!

Thank you so much for posting Part III! Back in the Fall of '05, I remember reading Part I and thinking, "Ooh, I have to wait till December for the next part." And December came and went and there was no Part II :(

But Parts II and III were posted in relatively short order, thus satisfying my WMD addiction... ;)

Excellent. Excellent ^ 100.

Very nice custom case.. Makes my own plans seem futile at least..
Quote Blademrk 7th June 2006, 10:36
To quote the AA ad "Very nice, man. Very, very nice, man".

And thanks for the heads up on the FrontX USB ports, I've been looking everywhere for something like that to add the 4 extra USB ports from the Motherboard header of my ASUS to the front of my case (as I don't want to tie up the expansion ports on the back of my case up with the 2x2 port cards that came with it).
Kustom PC's didn't seem to stock them anymore though (or at least I couldn't find them), but I found you could order them direct from the FrontX website (with free shipping from the US - bargin)
