This rocks!

Seriously, this is art, not modding.

Oh - by the way:

"Battle stations, Battle Stations - This is not a drill. Prepare to repel Slashdotters & Hotlinkers!" :D

I also hear Rich has taken the Bit reactor to 110% and taken the safety interlocks offline. ;)

I've never seen anything so professional and with so much attention to detail. A truely awesome case, like has been said - this is art, not modding.

Quote Ryszvaldo 22nd May 2006, 11:54
Your work with stainless is superb - it is not an easy material to work with - true, true craftsmanship!

Wow...just wow. I took time off my revision to read this, and it was worth it. The attention to detail is amazing. Can't wait for part III.
Just out of interest, how much do you think the whole thing, including parts, tools and stuff like laser cutting has cost you?

Thanks for the kind words all. :)

Part-III is written and I'm just sorting the last few pics. Should be up on bit-tech in a couple of weeks.

I'll check this thread out in a day or two and answer any questions then. So if you have any, post them here (I see one already) and I'll do my best to answer them.

Cheers

A couple of weeks?
What am I going to do in the meantime?
Quote [USRF]Obiwan 22nd May 2006, 14:17
I hope you never have to go to a casemod contest by airplane! Serioulsy i mean this.

I bet "they" will take you down, call the bombsquad and evacuate the airport (not to mention the whole damn city). And dont even mention the name "Weapon of Mass Destruction" when "they" interogate you. Because then you would problerly end up with a waterhose put into your behind.

And better hide the rest of your life and change your name to mister Smith when it goes onto international television. Especialy when they show the just released Bin-laden tape with clearly states. And i qoute; "this WMD will shock your nation"

To make a long story short. This is so a realistic looking mod. even "they" will believe it is real.

:D
