Agreed I see where your going with that, it is expensive, but not expensive for a PLED. For example a fararri is expensive, but its worth the money you pay on it. If you want a cheap product you'll get what you pay for. Also I would contend that you do not have to be an advanced user as there are likely many novice users who own MX6's, although they're likely not the ones making the scripts, but it really doesn't take much to download a plulg-in like the winamp one and start displaying your song information. I mean it isn't rocket science, ahem computer science. haha although, I did take a comptuer science in school and there were people there that had difficulties with MS-Word so....

Yeah I can gather that there would be difficulty with that group of people using it, but then we all have to imagine how they manage to get too and from their schools every day (lol oh yeah the short bus). That said I concede as it all comes back to tyranny of the masses. The world just isn't ready for something that causes/allows you to use your head. But as for me, I think its a form of counter evolution to allow the slowest people to dictate the laws for the fastest. lol there should be a MX-RTD lol u know its for you if you think pled is something you do with your mom when you hear the new Ashley Simpson album is out, bascially just get a light bright with a oscillating fan and your good to go.

Thank you, and it's good to see we've got our priorities in order. :D
I don't suppose we can get her to do a Bit-tech pictorial? Maybe a photo-shoot of reflective shuttle cases with her around?

Hey all,

I just want to apologize for TheModManSavage. He is a new employee at Matrix Orbital, along with a few others and is very eager and very go get them. Unfortunately he does not know the rules and etiquette of forums. He will be educated (room 101 for him) and be given boundaries. So I apologize for him and Matrix Orbital, and I will make sure this does not happen again with any of my employees.

As far as the review goes, The_Pope and I spoke at length about the review. Yes the product is showing its age in places, but it is still the most powerful and most versatile display you can get. One of the biggest reasons we have a great relationship with Bit-Tech is their honesty and depth of all the reviews they do. Reading the review and comments, gives us an incredible insight into how we can improve our product. We are improving, we are innovating and we are listening. If any of you have questions for me, you know how to reach me, other then that... Bit-Tech rules!!!

Hoo yeah

Well, seeing something like that certainly says quite a bit about a company. ;)
Back on topic though, that is quite a nice display. A bit small for my taste, but nice none the less.

nobody from Bit-Tech works for the INQ.

Ah - I did have my suspicions about TMMS, especially given his location :D

I don't think anyone should be in doubt about this product. If you're in the target market, you'll do no better than a MO. If you're more mainstream, hang tight - The Calgary Crew are working on things all the time to improve, and Henry & I talk all the time about stuff. I'm confident they will have a product(s) in the future that will have great performance AND be all fluffy for mainstream users.

Even if he doesn't now, Wil Harris has written for both.

Sure is... :)

As for wiring it in, it comes with a connector so no worries there ;)

What about PLED vs. VFDs

I'm sure the bogey gameboy green colour isn't going to appeal to everyone!
