However, that doesn't mean we can give proper author credits when we feature a worklog article written by a modder. He'll be dropping in here soon to answer questions from everyone - I expect the answer to yours is "lots!" :P

How many total hours of sanding went into it?
Hmm..i spent something like 100hours with sandpaper and files..
Imagine yourself to a little room with red walls and green floor. You have a piece of sandpaper in your hand and a churn on your knees. Although the paper is 60-grit, it seems to have no effect on the scratchy surface. You move the paper up and down and up and down and up and down and once more up and still without effect. After an hour you have a little bit of non-scratchy aluminium.
Would you go grazy? I was close to madness but luckily i found some booze and thennn evvverythhhhhing wasssshh muccch easshier :D
That case is really great, congratulations on winning first prize at such a big event. It's great to see that we have yet another experienced and creative modder onboard at bit.
Haha! That's one fun case:) We Scandinavians have a sick sense of humor.
But idea: How about adding a liquid cooling system, and color the water with something white, like chalk (or something in that fassion, can't remeber the word). It might clog the nipples, but it's woth a try!

joo kyllähän täällä näitä Suomi poikia liikkuu muutamia...
yea, few of Finnish people also are registered here... (not exsactly what I said, but almost... B) )
Considering the milk churn is made from aluminium, it is probably not that heavy really. Lassi mentions in the text that it was lighter than he thought it would be. I'm sure he'll find the answer for you next time he logs on.

I know how approximately much that kind of thing weights as empy. (its suprisingly much... atleast when you know from what it's made of...)
Tonkputer seems to be spread widely in the web.. a hungarian site radikalmod.hu has translated parts of the article in hungarian, also the Tonkputer name :D "Kannapjuter" in hungarian

He's a member of the forums here, but he's not a member of staff, no. http://www.bit-tech.net/about.html

How did you put the stuff inside? Though the window-hole?
Oho, muitakin suomalaisia täällä :)
Yeah, mostly through the window hole, the motherboard and it's tray went in through it's own hole.
I so badly wanna do one for myself... but saying that makes me sound like a furry again :(
My life sucks...
