As Geoff aka the Pope pointed out, he contacted me on MSN telling me people are still discovering this for me rather old mod. At the moment lack of time id keeping me from starting something new. Live goes on and things change...

P2D : I'll have to disappoint you, but photoshop didnt do much on this mod ;-)
Hcker2000 : I got the LCDpanel on ebay. I dont know exactly where you can find this one, but if you are looking for an 8 inch, maybe you can look at the panels with or without touch from Lilliput. Maybe try to look up some sites that sell stuff for homemade projectors. I made myself one a few months ago and got a 7 inch panel. I have to tell you it is quite expensive. I got the 12 inch for about 200$ on ebay.
deepdivered : the touch is connected to the pc with a serial connection.
B.I.T. : Like Nexxo told, i dont know of any free 3d software. As for learning a simple program I would also recommend sketchup. But if you want your renders a little bit more professional, I have to recommend 3dsmax or Maya.

As for 3D software: the easiest to use is Sketchup. It is not free, however. I don't think there are any at the moment that are.
