Blackmesa HL²

I love the rust theme also. Looks like it will go great with a HL2 theme (which reminds me of how pissed I am that its not out yet )

;) oh man i love the cd rom, and that total coloring scheme, amazing job so far. i might have gone for a smaller case though, easier to mod into the whole mesa atmosphere not to mention the upsides of a small case to a lan, is it an aluminum case - `cause it doesn`t look like one to me?
a bit heavy no? (and tey computer folk don`t have muscle let them carry a 21"er to a lan party once...)

Piloux, here's a different question for you. Let's say you finally complete this long wanted HL2 case of yours. What would you do to make the system inside look perfect with the case itself?

Im gonna keep that rust technique in the back of my head in case i use it in a future project, you dont mind do you?

wow this logo is really cool, you have done a good job with it ;) , Im building one to put on the same spot of the case but it is going tà be ... rusty :D, I ll show you pics of it tonight :)

thank you :) , it isn't aluminium case but it is not really heavy too , it is an old frame I use to this project , when I ll buy an aluminium case I think I will not paint it like that ;)

I don't know exactly for now I think I will have somme good ideas when I will buy the componants...for now I working on the external look ;)

of course no , I will paint it with copper color, I ll make all the finished of rust effect once all the case will be assembled

OMG thats pr0. I have a black mesa themed PC to, it's got the BMRF logo on it, and all thats stuff, will dig out my digi cam and take some pics, but that rust effect is the most realisitc paint i have ever seen, its like you left it in water for years...

That is some amazing paint effects you get their and that fan looks real cool aswell. Cant wait to see the thing finished.
