Of course we didn't mention a fix - we were reviewing (and thus describing) how Cryo PC had chosen to configure its PC. If we were writing a guide on how to make the most of the Corsair Airflow, then it would be relevant, but not in the review of a commerical PC.
BTW, the new cooler is considerably more unpleasant to look at than the older model (I have one in several of my PCs).
i havent seen one dream pc yet. not only that, the pcs using tecs are doing so in the most inefficient way possible; hardly worthwhile, and very costly.
judge it by its weakest component...£10,000 on a pc, uber pc, and the monkeys use a tiny fan ram cooler = epic fail imo. all those loops and all the watercooling and they couldnt stretch for an extra £50 for a MIPS ram cooler...ha
I admit that the internals are stunning but all the front of the case reminds me of is that tanned implant old lady from the demotivational thread LOL. Truly and ugly case.
Nice technical specs tough if I had one I sure as hell would ask Scan to make something less garish.
I just want to know what the hell Scan were thinking when they went for Quad SLI - it does NOT WORK!!! Give me the triple SLI in the Beast Cerberus anytime.
Actually, if Beast could upgrade the memory, CPU and hard drives to Scan's offerings and do the same trick with the RAM cooler, even if they couldn't get quite the same overclocks, theirs would be the machine I would get. If only I could afford it...
To me, minimalism is preferable to garishness. Though Scan's White Cobra was nice. Not quite as tacky.
