Can you put percentage bars underneath the score fractions?
With the old scoring system I could digest the verdict with glance, now I can't...
While I understand the logic of the scoring system, it could be represented better visually.
8am. Fractions...It is definitely a step backwards.

Bah, should have mentioned that. It's a removable panel with a tiny 40mm (i think) fan mount and 3pin power header behind it. It allows you to add a fan to blow more air behind the shroud. The fan isn't included in the box.
And although the "armor" is closed all around (the only way to get air inside is really thru the cpu fan facing down), the chipset always remains at 28ºc.
I had both boards, with this B2 error, I spent a little more and got the little update from the P8P67 to this Sabertooth, it's a good board, I only bought it because I wanted to use my wi-fi card and my Creative X-Fi Titanium (and my P8P67 didn't have enough pci-ex 1x, one got blocked by the gpu)

91%, 73%, 60%. Opening the calculator doesn't take long ;)

It is for a 50x50x10 mm fan.
Did you manage to fit all those cards without any problems ? If you have a photo please can you share, because I had some issues to install the extra cards.

+1 for percentage bars; if it aint broke, don't fix it... change for change's sake is not a good approach.

thx.
I'll do it, but only at 6pm (when I arrive from work).
one of the most talked-about LGA1155 motherboards on our forums. You can immediately see why too, as the Sabertooth P67 is extremely visually distinctive
...not to mention the fact the X58 Sabertooth was stated as the best X58 board here on bit :)
I don't like the shroud. Have only seen it in pictures thus far but I have good memories of Skiddywinks' P55 TUF board. Sexy as all hell. I suppose the fact it can be painted and has done is a bonus.. I'm going to have to find some pictures on that.
Genuinely surprised it wouldn't coax 5GHz out of the CPU though.

In my experience (had both boards), I think that the P8P67 has a better BIOS for OC, and if I'm not mistaken this board has 8 phases, while the P8P67 has 12. I don't know if it limits OC that much...
Hmm at least it does have good NIC. Maybe not Intel server oriented version with hardware acceleration, but still better that NIC on X58 Sabertooth where they used chip (Realtek) from some antiquated PCI(not Express) network card which meant that under heavy load network was clogged up in no time at all.

Nice board, but I wonder if removing the shroud would have let it hit that mystical 5GHz...

Sure why not.
Photo's really do not do it justice I assure you
The purists will probably hate it as always however

For those confused about the new scoring system, this article should help, and is a better place for your feedback:

I'm not confused about it, just don't like the fractions stuff....
