Wow! That's a fully featured mobo even by ATX standards. I must admit that I would pay up to £150 for that if I had time to make a case and surely it would make a great LAN gaming machine. With wireless N as a standard, it won't be long before we see wireless LAN gigs which will ease the burden of infrastructure setup, and that can only help the cause and keep the cost down.

If they can make it £130-140 I'm in for one.

Wow this is nice. I'd honestly go for one if they were available here. Plug in a nice i3, in a silverstone mITX case and a nice card... damn, wish I had the money :D

£100 without the wireless N.

Makes me want to make my self an HTPC now...

WANT!
tad2008 21st February 2010, 14:11 Quote
So that's about £110 for a fully featured board complete with wireless N which is darn good to see included and something that more manufacturers could do with including.

I will definitely be interested in reading the full review on this when it's ready and will definitely be on my short list. Now all we need is nvidia to get their 4xx series of cards out and my new build options can be finalised.

Do want!!!

just need a reason for it

Ahh, finally released!

This could be very useful in building a really powerful, portable LAN gaming machine!

Do want. This will probably end up replacing the S775 guts of PC3.

To everyone planning a non-Clarkdale build - there's already a few P55 mITX 'boards out for your non-IGP needs;

You mean this? B) http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/motherboards/2010/01/13/dfi-mi-p55-t36-mini-itx-motherboard-review/1

Fewer SATA ports, no wireless-n though ;)

On the plus side: 8pin EPS12V and overclocking-presets = win!

Already planning to cram this sucker into the new Lian Li PC-q08 with a bunch of 2tb drives, blu ray drive and an i3 for a reasonably small file server/htpc, can't wait to pick it up!

I think the Zotac boards fill a niche in the market for CarPC's where a small form factor but large number of features is quite important. I'm currently using their old 9300-itx board in my car and it's been fantastic so far.

only downside to these boards is the lack of expansion slots. It seems a waste to buy an H55 board over P55 to run a discrete GPU considering the main feature of H55 is intagrated graphics on i3/i5. Since your only getting one expansion slot surely a standard PCI-E or even a PCI slot would be better for HTPC users.

An x16 slot is backward compatible to x8/x4/x2/x1 so you can put in what you like. Fancy a performance RAID card that uses an x8 connector for example: this is compatible :)

Why would any mobo manufacturer have wifi onboard!? WHAT A USELESS FEATURE..... I COULDN'T SEE WHY ANYONE WOULD WANT WIFI ON THE ITX FORMAT OR ANY OTHER..................................... THEY MIGHT AS WELL PUT USB 3.0 and SATA 6GBS ON IT AS WELL TO MAKE IT EXTRA USELESS. ..... :D

For bindi

Actually wireless is quite useful...imagine, you no longer need to run that damn ethernet cable to your server upstairs!
