I really dislike the colour scheme of most Gigabyte boards and I know I shouldn't let things like that get in the way of a good board, but pastel colours on a mediocre board. Gross!

Still, each to their own.

Board colour shouldn't matter, anyone who has a window in their PC should be shot.

Out of interest how do you guys confuse the CMOS and reset buttons... one is blue and the other is black :P

The new P55 [A] range from Gigabyte [USB3.0 + SATA2 (6Gbps) and USB Power 3X] will actually be availalbe in the next 2 weeks, not months ;-)

they see a lot of boards for testing i guess :P i doubt remembering little things like that for each is as easy as it sounds :P
but i agree that for most people it wouldnt matter much.

Anyone on the BT staff know when the x58 board refresh is going to happen? i.e. when are the USB 3.0 boards going to be coming out? (sata600 would be nice as well...)

This board is now (21-02-2010) available from Scan for £119 inc vat, which is £15 cheaper than the GA-P55-UD4 board. Any reason why it's cheaper when it's a higher spec board?

That's an incredible price! Buy one!!

I'd imagine Gigabyte/Scan are selling off "old" stock cheap to clear the way for their "A" range.

I did, along with an i5 750, 4GB Corsair 1600Mhz memory and Corsair H50 cooler :D
