Still glad I got my i7!
An extra SATA chipset costs less than a SAS/SATA ;)
Asus' deluxe boards used to be bigger overkill. Though 5 SATA is enough, it's not overkill :) .
I don't think absence of clear CMOS button is problem. When MB fails to post BIOS fallback to default settings.
The only bad feature is FDC. There's no need for this zombie-tech anymore, especially since BIOS can emulate USB floppy as FDD.
Also page 4 is slightly puzzling my mind:
"'MSI 790FX-G70 (AMD 790GX/SB750 - .131 beta BIOS)"'
It should be 790FX instead of 790GX, shouldn't it? Or maybe it's new board, I've seen only GD70(790FX) on MSI site.
5 SATA isn't enough. Besides that, features be damned, there really ARE corners cut here. Hell, some of the non-deluxe Intel boards have a better feature set. It almost makes me wonder if Asus has chosen to shun the core feature set in favor of overclocking, leaving Gigabyte (and their ghastly support) to pick up the tab.
