Wish they had 12 (or 14-16) USB ports, 8 SATA, 6 DIMM slots, and a few other gimmicks thrown in. I don't really see why I should pay 90$ for more or less the exact same motherboard but with an extra chip thrown in and a PCI-e x1 slot less =\

It might be that 1600FSB chips will work in some 1333 boards but require you to overclock to get to rated speeds of the CPU, like some of the P965 boards will do with 1333FSB CPUs.

I got the evga email as well.... think I'll just stick with the 680i... Going to a higher board just means you need better periferals to actually take advantage of it. So, why spend hundreds more on new hardware? 780i = upgrade on EVERYTHING... wont waste it till I'm going to upgrade completely.

Is there a reason why they have decided to provide 1 less expansion slot for that huge heatsink? IMO it would have been better to expand somewhere other than down!

OK, I know this is a bit off topic, but I was searching on Google for "nvidia 790i" and saw that nvidia 790i will support DDR3 only.... Is this true? :(
The good (?) news is that it won't need the NV200 chip...
