the 2 eSATA are on the JMicron & imo the best thing to do with that anyway is disable it in the BIOS ...

Aye, I know. I have the P5B Deluxe mobo, which has 6 sata native ports, plus 1 sata via a JMicron chip (and an unused esata :) )
How many people use esata? Maybe a poll ought to be carried out.
Agreed. With 12 (or however many it is) usb2 ports supported and wireless usb on the way, what's the point of esata?
Portable storage that's as fast as your desktop drive(s).
