With the exception of the high-quality Doom 3 test (which was GPU limited), we found that the Shuttle SD31P was slower than the Gigabyte SLI board by a good margin in most instances. We are not sure whether this is related to the lack of TRAS adjustment, or whether it is down to something else. However, it sees that if you are looking for an Intel-based gaming system, you would be better suited looking at an Nvidia SLI motherboard now, or maybe a CrossFire motherboard once they are available. With that said, this Shuttle is no slouch - especially for its size; but Nvidia is faster.
