Just bought one of these :D Dixons online have them at the best price I found, and if you use 'SAVE10' without the quotes as the discount code you'll save a tenner.

One question though. You say the touch pad button is one large rocker button. Does it allow for middle clicking as you can usually press left and right button to get middle button, but I was wondering if this is possible with a rocking button? Cheers!

Yes, the rocker is flexible. Or you can use the top-right tap zone to simulate middle click.

Have to say. While I get the idea of a netbook and the batterylife is astonishing too. I'm not willing to give up so much screen estate for portability. Currently running a T60 with 1680x1050 res. CAD on the go if I wish to do so. Bland, yes. No in your face colour schemes. This thing is a workhorse. And built like it with that magnesium frame. Only thing I'm missing is tablet functions and better battery life. Wishlist is still an X series tablet. ibm all the way.

The T60 is a beautiful machine... big IBM fan here, too - my X60s has been to hell and back and it's still running just fine. :)

Waiting (hoping!) for a Nordic release. However, on clove.co.uk it says:
LCD 10.2” WSVGA (1024 x 600) SuperBright Gloss LED Display
While on Samsung's site it says:
10.2" WSVGA (1024 x 600) LED Anti-Glare Display (Factory Option)

Can anybody confirm which display it is? I was tempted by the Acer but the glossy/mirror display was a complete turn-off.

The screen is matte :)

Thanks, ntrovert :-)
Talked with Samsung and they don't seem to plan a Nordic release. Hopefully they will reconsider in the new year.

Hello,

I ordered mine from clove.co.uk to Norway and it just arrived, swiftly and nicely. I must say, this is one neat machine. Feels more sturdy than my fullsize (creaky) ASUS 15.4". Obviously you don't get the silly keys (æ ø å, or ä ö å I guess) when ordering from the UK but on the other hand you get the genius placement of / and # on the UK layout which I'm finding myself strangely attached to. I might have to change the layout on the desktop and place some stickers on the keys.. :D

The display doesn't look glossy at all to me. Been trying to catch a reflection of the desktop monitor in it and it just doesn't.

How big is the powerbrick on this one (compared to the others?)

Well just received my NC-10 yesterday. Must admit its magic!

Apart from the good design, decent performance, battery life and the healthy amount of storage. The best thing is the keyboard. It's joy to type on. I've used a few of my mates netbooks and always felt my big sausage fingers were too big for the keyboard. Not anymore!!

Excellent little piece of kit

I broke and bought myself one last night... I was toying between the black and white versions and ended up getting the Black version in the end. I'm not regretting the choice - the piano black finish is gorgeous!

Excellent choice sir! Also went for the same sexy black number :D

I was going to go for the white one. Thankfully I didn't as I take it everywhere I go and can imagine the white one getting extremly grubby looking after a while.

Personaly i hate the piano black finish on mine, but thankfully i'm not alone and if you google around there are vinyl kits you can buy to totaly cover the lid, and loads of design choices too. Only thing is they cost around £15 which seems a bit steep to me.
