That 1080 price 'cut' didn't last long did it.

..after about three weeks they started creeping up again, there were plenty of decent AIB cards for about £450. Now, apart from special offers, they're all over £500 again.

..and that's with the £ rising nearly 10% as well since they 'cut' the price.

..Don't ever try and tell me that tech retailers in this country are anything but legalised rip off merchants.

Same logic behind it as with petrol prices, price increases are fully passed on to the consumer, savings only partially.

Just be happy we don't have to buy PC components from an airline:
