Agreed. Among others, but mainly BF3 cause its so popular. Hoping that ALL graphics cards have a minimum of 1.5GB, hopefully 2GB of VRAM next gen, it's really starting to get used up fast with higher than 1920x1080 resolutions, 3D, Multimonitor, mods/pushing settings past default ones.
I've had one for half a year now and really enjoy the silence. It also offers plenty of performance for my needs and frankly I don't care about the factory OC.. It comes at a premium price, but then again, buying a cheaper 560Ti and fitting it with a quiet aftermarket cooler isn't cheap, either and voids the warranty, so IMO there's definitely a market for cards like this.
This card is over 2x the speed on average with ULTRA settings and 4AA than the 1GB card in BF3.
Reviews need tests updating as they are providing a false sense of security to those thinkling about a 2GB card over a 1GB card with the illusion a 1GB will do.

Citation needed methinks. :)
Not saying it's wrong, but something concrete over heresay please.
Tech Report just had an article pulled, presumably for breaking an NDA...
'New 560Ti launches 29th November....1280Mb Vram and 448 Cuda Cores.
...so it may well be worth waiting till the end of this month if anyone is thinking about buying a 560..as the new specs will make it roughly the same speed as a 570, and supposedly the launch price will be the same as the regualr 560.
Why would you not get a 6950 DirectCU II... It's even 1 pound cheaper... and the performance is WAY WAY better - -" (Price from overclock.net not overclockers.co.uk)
2GB of ram in a mid range card which is designed to run games at 1680p and maybe 1080p is already pretty stupid... let alone the price... At 220 pounds, you should really just add 30 pounds for the KPA2 GTX 570...
If you are looking for quiet, just get a better case ~_~"

BTW I am not saying you are lying etc but making such a statement should be backed up with evidence or at the very least a direct link to such evidence.
Bit Tech could you improve your games tested to incorporate more modern and therefore more demanding ones please :) The new CoD is perhaps not much of a need, since it will probably be quite similiar graphically, but many many people want to know how a card will fare on BF3, and many other sites post results that disagree, or measure by average framerate (pointless).
BF3
I've heard Shogun Total War is painful on systems, especially memory-wise
etc thanks

ReplyPricewise it's very very close to the stock 570 though.

We got MSI to do the testing for us who had the opinion of "cant be" only to find out it it was.
This still needs to be backed up with some form of evidence.
Google is all you need ;)
You'd be wrong! More info on that later this week though.
