Nice review, looks like a great card if you can afford it.

Abusurd Price.

And at any rate, there are Recertified EVGA GTX 285s and GTX 280s going for under $260.

Great performance, but a crude noisemaker, plus you have the issue of the Xfire driver profiles...I'd take the Atomic

Somehow these numbers don't look legit.I mean at xbitlabs, the stock clocked 4890 slightly outperforms a stock clocked gtx285 at these exact setts and resolutions in both Crysis and COD5:

Crysis Warhead
Cod5

Any news on availability of these beauties yet? Eager to get my hands on one.

I just wish Sapphire would make a version of this but with one of the two dual-link DVI's replaced by a DisplayPort, and sell it with a full-cover waterblock to make it a single-slot Radeon HD 4890 with the 1 GHz overclock. Keep the 6&8-pin power jacks, naturally.

I have 2 4870X2's in Crossfire and I just don't like the power consumption, noise, heat, and the heat is definitely causing image problems and possible BSOD's as well. So, I'm going with 2 Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 Atomic's in Crossfire next. I did buy an aftermarket cooling solution ( Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME 4870X2), but ended up changing my mind! I just threw this on here as an example of nutty people out here who have a hard time being happy with their purchases : ()
