I'm more in favor for buying a separate GPU WC block myself.

And secondly, i do want to know why they make a big copper block for both GPU and memory and not cool the memory on the back of the card. Why not make the block to fit the GPU only (it would be cheaper to for less copper) because it seems that cooling memory is not needed at all. Do Cooling of both GPU and ALL memory or do GPU cooling only. Its just plain stupid to do half memory cooling.

hey obiwan, i'm not an authority on the subject but i think it was mentioned in the article that the card with the memory cooling (bfg card with dd block) was able to have the memory oc'd alot more than the msi card. so it appears it has its benefits. i may be mistaken as i read the review several hours ago, but i like to think my memory degredation hasnt become too bad :P

peace

Obiwan,

As for buying a seperate block: 1 word, WARRANTY

As for back of card. Normally small heatsinks are shipped as well to paste on those chips ;) And if they aren't, they're easy to find.

I have to admit that products like this make me seriously consider giving water cooling a go.

The DD block does look pretty good, almost good enough to make me want to turn the PC onto its side, and cut a window into the floor so that I can see it. Almost.

But in terms of pure waterblock porn you need look no further than the link below

I would buy that Heatkiller block hands down. I never really was a fan of Danger Den blocks IMO, overpriced.
