Yesterday morning, AMD announced what is probably its final member of the K8 family. The Athlon 64 X2 6000+ is AMD's first socket AM2 processor to break through the 3GHz barrier. In the wake of AMD's latest round of price cuts, the X2 6000+ has an attractive price, but does that make it a good buy?
