Question for me is will it offer clearance of all ram slots on a asus p8p67 pro? Currently the frio covers the nearest ram slot (using corsair vengeance). With two sticks of ram this is no problem, since on the asus board (according to the manual) you need to populate the 2nd and 4th closest slots first. However, it would be nice to have the option of using all slots.

Same on my Gigabyte P55A-UD3, Frio covers the first RAM slot and is possibly pushing a DIMM in the second slot back.

I run mine with only a single fan. Even though my RAM is low profile... I find it's cooling capacity isn't overly affected by more than 2ish C under load. I am however currently running a stock 950 so it may be a bigger issue with a bit of tuning to handle.
I'm hoping they made the fan speed cables a bit longer with this generation as thats the only thing I find annoying about the Frio installed on my Sabertooth. Looking forward to seeing whats what though :)
Aesthetically is looks much better than the Frio which i'm on the cusp of ordering, i really want this to be good so i can get one of these instead :). Need temp figures and to know whether the fans are interchangeable

.......*deep thought*............. yeah but obsessing over the asthetics and fine tuning a car is so completly different to obsse.ss.s..ing.....

ReplyNeed to see temp comparison before deciding - but hopefully it'll push the old Frio's price down too!
As in "Fry yo CPU"? :|
blue, red and grey?? gonna look a bit cheap and tacky on a lot of boards

I pronounce it "Free-Oh" rather than "Fry-Oh".
Me too.

Me too, and I'm pretty sure that's how it's meant to sound given that "Frio" is Spanish for "Cold".

enough the frio on high fan setting is unbearable so its basically can you make do with 2 low spinning fans or 1
Gawd that is a tacky vid, at least I now know that OCK stands for OverClocker Kings...
BEYOND THE LIMITS
OFF INTO NEW SPHERES
UNEARTHLY MIGHTY
SHATTERING PERFORMANCE
BRUTE CHILLING FORCE
The icing on the cake was the anaemic dude, wearing what looks like a Roman soldier outfit, on the deck of a spaceship...
Man that is a seriously naff video.
