BT: Why don't Lian Li cases support more standard water-cooling mounts for dual-120mm and triple-120mm radiators with 15mm spacing?
LiLi: Lian Li already has three models that support internal watercooling mounts which are the A70F, A71F (dual) and new V2120 (triple) and we will continue to design new models with support in future.
Good to know, looking forward to seeing what they come up with.
Wohoo for the perforated comeback! And thanks for throwing my question at them as well :)
About the PC-V1020 looks great, but having a single huge HDD-rack instead of being able to split it half-way is a huge minus. It's hard to tell from the pictures how well graphic cards will fit, but with under 7 hard drives I'd much rather throw half of the cage out in order to have better airflow from the fan.. Like so:
Hurrah! Finally, a cheesegrater that doesn't turn my motherboard upside down and defeat the point of heatpipe cooling systems. The question now is only can I justify selling my current case to buy one that looks almost identical...
LiLi: We do have an online store, however it is only for the Taiwanese market. We did consider a world-wide online store, however the cost of shipping individual parts would be too great and usually costs more than the part itself to ship it safely without damage.
It's quite funny how you can consider yourself a fan of something you have never even seen in real life.
It's really good to see a return of the removable motherboard tray and, depending on the price, the V1 in red could very well be my next case (otherwise it will be either the A05 or B25)
Mac Pro-a-like my arse. No-one who ever used on gave a damn about the outside, it was the internals that made it fantastic. Never poked around inside a more friendly system in my life.
Good to hear that Lancool are doing good. I'd love to see more Lian Li cases but made of steel for cheapness, like how the K62 was essentially a PCP50 but with some minor changes such as a dedicated 3.5inch drive rack instead of 5.25>3.5 inch adapters.
Also the red outside black inside color scheme looks brilliant.
Really want one of those. V1020's. Just not in pink. Maybe as a next case..... I do need to replace mine at some point, pity it doesn't support watercooling though as that was my plan.
Keep in mind that V1020 in dusty environment is a bad idea (had one from older model). It looks really bad because mesh is constantly "attacked" by dust, and keeping it clean is a full time job.
If someone want water cooling - in particular with more than 1 loop - then Lian-Li is not the way to go. Pick a Mountain Mods case (in Europe only available - with delay - from aquatunning.de). You get 15mm fan spacing in standard, perfect for every radiator. You don't need any DIY to install WC system in MM box.

Do you work for MM? That's twice now.
1020 looks lubberly.

Was going to ask the same thing after the first time...

I'll give you the email address of our sales people if you'd like to advertise ;)
Ya Lian Li just doesnt feel the same like they use to, I mean they really have lost the edge in the market, years a go it use to be Lian Li or nothing but now, most people dont even mention Lian Li when they talk about case options, its sad really such excellent build quality, even price aside.
I always thought the the original V1000 came out around 2004 with the Mac Pro styled case after (2006?). With this in mind it's no a mac pro-styled case the Mac Pro is Lian Li styled.

both gorgeous cases though, the V1 looks amazing, if a little large.
Good to know, looking forward to seeing what they come up with.
