that flap's for the dual usb ports at the bottom of the console - and is a little too large to be honest!

Wait, people actually think that the PS3 is better looking than the 360? The PS3 is a large shapeless block of black, shiny plastic, while the Xbox is a bit curvy, and quite a lot smaller. And it's not black, aside from the Elite..

interesting... :D

Looks like we've found the one person in the world who's the exception that proves the rule! :p

However, what's the price of looking cool? There's no doubt that the current 360 casing lies somewhere "meh" and "crap" when you stand it next to the gloriously shiny Wii and PS3.

My thoughts exactly. (well, apart from the black 360 looks better than the white one IMHO)

The Wii looks great, the 360 is quite nice.
The PS3 is many things, but pretty is not one of them. It may be shiny, but a shiny ugly thing is still ugly. A few of my friends think the same as well. I don't want a George Foreman grill under my TV

That said, i'd be a bit tempted by this case if i didn't have one of the newer HDMI 360's which seemed to have fixed the reliability thing.
Just roll on the 'play-from-hdd' update, i'm really looking forward to playing games without being deafed by the DVD drive

terrifying concerns :D

Looks interesting. No doubt we'll soon see lots of them stuffed with LED fans and CC tubes.

Can't wait until somebody mods a SFF PC into it though as it looks better than the other Lian Li Micro ATX cases IMO.

o the HDMI 360 arent immune, i had one die on me a few weeks ago. i have a thread up on the gaming forum about this, the seem to get 2 red lights instead of 3, 2 meaning they are overheating not rrod'd.

im really lookin forward to playing of the HDD too

Koolance also make a W/C kit for the 360.

I prefer the look of the Elite. I'm looking forward to the results of the review though.

It looks massive compared to the proper Xbox case. And unless it's a standard 43cm wide, it's not going to match any of my home theatre kit.
Crunch77 27th August 2008, 18:13 Quote
My xbox360 is actually not louder when playing games of the disc. The reason being, that it is extremely loud- ALL the time.
Called Xbox support, answer: Meh.... :(
This case however is too big for the WAF and would not like to void the RROD warranty.

i think all modern consoles are pretty ugly tbh

having said that the mega drive and the snes were no lookers

A green cathode? Watch out, you'll be moving on to LED fans next! And then a two-speed fanbus! Before you know it, you'll be writing for a website that discusses this 'modding' thing.

"Yes, the first after-market case for the Xbox 360 has arrived"

Great, can we see it please cos the Lian Li certainly wasn't the first.

I know, crazy isn't it.

Water. Cooling?

People are clearly nuts.

No idea which one was first, but my xbox has been sat in a black, windowed aftermarket case with pretty lights that change colour for over a year now.

My point being it's not correct to say that this is the first aftermarket case, it isn't. It's the first "non standard size design" aftermarket case.

Original Xbox, or 360?

I've been wanting one of these for ages now and finally bought one today. Looking forward to getting it up and running.
