What on earth does that have to do with anything?
Are you saying that if I make a name for something, then someone else makes a name with a similar sound that is more popular I should change my product name?
With all due respect, Tulatin, I did read the thread - I was simply stating my position. As it is usual to do in forums. You were stating yours, too. :) You like the case, although you don't like your fingers getting cut to ribbons. Fair enough. :) I don't like the case; it's too plastic, it's not a design I find at all attractive and I associate the prefix 'i' with iPod. Whether that is my fault, or the fault of some fantastic marketing by Apple, I'm not really bothered about. Would you call someone who does/doesn't (delete as appropriate) like the Lian-Li PC777 case a 'moron' just because the thing is shaped like a snail?
...
Again, with all due respect, DougEdey, brand name association has a lot to do with many things. The electronics industry thrives on it. So do many other industries.
That doesn't matter, iCute was well established before Apple created the iPod and you reckon they should give it up because not enough people recognise it.
iCute was founded in 1988, www.icute.com.tw look there for more info before making incredibly annoying statements.

No.
I did not say that. Please don't put words in my mouth.
Until I saw this case review, I was not aware of a company named 'iCute'. No one is omnipotent. You were aware of them beforehand, cool. I was not.
Obviously we are going to have to agree to disagree. :D
