YEHBABY 25th March 2013, 08:11 Quote

anything new? :( still waiting for an update..
j_jay4 28th March 2013, 21:28 Quote
You've got it all wrong, it's an annual buyers guide
SirFur 29th March 2013, 15:54 Quote
It isn't.

Used to be a 3-4 monthly update.

This is meant to be the 'elite' list as found in the CPC mags.

Before this buyer's guide there used to be a monthly article which had each month's latest elite items.

Start a thread in the hardware section, people will be able to advise you there.

Make sure you state:

1.) What your current kit is
2.) Budget £
3.) What you intend to do with it.

Surely the answer to 3) is always, use it to gloat at everyone else.

nothing new to report in over 8 months ?

Bit-Tech step 1) make unique feature that brings people in
2) abandon feature and wish you were more like the verge
3) ...
4) failure

Check out techspot if you're after a guide. They still publish a regular guide which is pretty good.
nemmfesta 6th August 2013, 16:51 Quote

Well nothing says "We're an up to date Tech website that cares" like having a one year old Hardware Guide on your front page :D

Happy Birthday August 2012 Hardware Buyer's Guide. One year old today.

I remember when I actually used this place for... well... anything.
Xir 13th August 2013, 06:53 Quote
At least take it down from the front page and move it elsewhere, it's embarassing.
seanbean 14th August 2013, 01:30 Quote
Is anyone from the bit-tech Team reading this thread? Care to reply?
lworbey 15th August 2013, 11:23 Quote
Come on bit-tech, even a quarterly guide rather than monthly would be more useful than this!
Combatus 19th August 2013, 16:25 Quote
