Given the choice between this and a cheaper much better designed Ergotron stands I now what one I would pick and its not the over priced less functional XFX
I have 3 monitors on my desk. And I can route my keyboard, mouse, headphone, usb hub, mini and micro usb cable and mic cable and center speaker between them and it cost me nothing.
This is ridiculous, all dual and triple monitor stands are way overprices. And not even showing it with all the monitors attached either horizontal or vertical in this review is worthless. this whole review is a poss.

Which ergotron model are you referring to?
To my knowledge you need to mix match ergotron parts to get something similar that works with 24".
And not a single picture of the frame in use in dual or triple monitor mode. I mean really, just one picture of a blank frame is enough... Who is going to have it sitting there without monitors on. Another half arsed review in my opinion.

+1 to this, also at least here in Socialist State of Finland the Ergotron stuff costs a fortune. You're easily spending this much for a single monitor stand. Granted, we got plenty of Ergotron stuff in our control room at work, and those are definitely premium pieces, absolutely high quality stuff. Too bad I can't justify spending more on a stand than my monitor...
It seems way overpriced considering one of these will serve the same purpose (you may need to buy additional long arms if your 3x monitors are 24", although I'm not too sure.). Either way its much cheaper than the XFX and is a clamp design which will probably be sturdier than the one used in the review.
Though it's nice to have the extra features here, it's kind of a shame that it all plugs into a gigantic base. People get these stands to free up their desks, not enslave them XFX.
Funny there's a review I was just shopping for this... Sure this one looks nice and is apparently a rebranded Ergotron (so high quality) but there's no way I'm paying that much for a stand. Especially after spending $550 on 3x 23in and $250 on a 6950. All triple monitor stands are expensive but a decent Planar model can be had for $100 less...

ReplyBit-tech I am dissapoint.

I bet we could get along just fine with only 2 shots of the bare frame.

The novatech will probably eventually sag and you won't be able to lift the side monitors to compensate.
