I'm a keen SC2 player but its a shame to see these products - they look very generic. It wouldn't have taken a huge amount of imagination to have Zerg, Protoss and Terran themed versions of them so you could pick the version of the race that you play as.
I agree,
There is nothing on these products that are of a benefit to any SC2 player. For products specially designed for SC2 I would have expected a lot more.
I will be sticking to my logitech MX518 mouse and G15 keyboard to help me get pro at sc2 :)

Using a G11, you gotta love macros in SC2 especially as I play Zerg
My faith in Razer has been declining lately. They've turned out some really great products and still do, but it's so inconsistent. It seems like for every excellent product they turn out there's another piece of absolute trash to follow it up. No surprise that the trash is usually the branded stuff.
While I think there is an upwards spiral of peripheral pricing in general, Razer seems to one of the more expensive (read: overpriced) brands out there. Adding a licence on top of that just makes the prices ridiculous. I'm fairly sure Starcraft players aren't known for expensive tastes (what's a laser mouse?), so even if this stuff was decent they would have a hard time pushing it.
Razer makes great products, I use the Razer Naga for Star Trek Online along with the Logitech G11. They complement each other very nicely.
The strength of good gaming peripherals come from their universality. Outside of EVE online, I never played just one game exclusively for a long period of time.
Gamers want useful, durable and fairly attractive peripherals, there is no need to style them for one game. We are PC Gamers and have interests both broad and deep.
Dear God, do they take us for tasteless morons?
I can understand form over function, but this... The design is shite, the colors are bland, the lights are all wrong (too bright and plentiful), and everything's uncomfortable and devoid of functionality. And I just love how it costs around 4 times it's production price... Fail, Razer. EPIC FAIL.

That's because the keyboard has a US layout. Did no one notice that @ and " are swapped? That's the telltale difference between the two layouts. Also, the left shift is longer and the \ key is bigger moved above return - I always preferred this. I'm guessing the reviewer is a touch-typist, as when you set the keyboard to a UK layout in Windows you won't notice all of these changes (not actually sure what happens to the \ key when you do this..).

Not really. Most pro gamers don't like blue switches.

doubt they'd even let you into Bronze tbh. These 'peripherals' look dire. Do not want.
I can't imagine not using my X4 and g500.

Why is it not in the article?
Why 2? Extra power for the lighting?
