Either way, Mineral OIL is good for silence, but its not gunna freeze a CPU down to the temps needed. Infact, it wouldnt even get the CPU colder than the oil itself, which is gunna be room temp.
'-30C(-22F) is listed as the freezing point for mineral oil. Due to viscosity (how thick the fluid is, basically), however, it's lowest useful temperature is considered to be 10C (50F).'
