Multiple displays are an addiction - larger, higher res monitors might be one way out but it's hard to go backwards once you've run dual (or more) screens.

I think you've missed the point, This is a solution basically touted for us gamers, people with some obscene video cards, The question really should be, how many of the people this is really aimed at run dual screens
i think the % is probably a lot higher then you think, 1/3-1/2 wouldn't surprise me, I myself run dual screens, and i wouldn't sacrifice them for this "solution"
Anyway, i did have a thought, this is really just a way for nvidia to make a crappy solution to the problem, instead of making cards more efficient, or turning off large chunks of them when not needed, they just adding in another chip that uses less power (although, overall your going to be worse off if you use 3D a lot, as the mGPU is going to be sucking power all the time)
Is there a change the a GeForce 8600GT would be compatible with these technologies? The Nvidia site on mentions the 8400GS and the 8500GT.....
I use a dual-display config, so it would be nice to use this with it.... Let's see if Nvidia allows it :like some of you say, a dual DVI motherboard would be nice, but IMAO it's pointless if the can't use dual-display with Hybrid-SLI or HybridPower....

good point, wouldnt for space reasons they better off using and hdmi or display port
;)
