Wow, nVidia certainly did well in round 4! I don't mean to be a conspiracy theorist here, but I did expect Crossfire XTXs to do at least a little better, looking back to single XTX benchmarks. :s Perhaps nVidia were ready with better drivers, since it was their idea?

A surprise win for the dual XTXs on Chronicles of Riddick though right? :|

I'm also wondering how much difference using Conroe motherboards and cpus would've made...

It's been very interesting so far though. Looking forward to the rest. :D

crossfire drivers seem very bad atm, and the early revisions could see a performance loss for 2 cards

This is a very strange indeed, crossfire seems to be still pretty naff, the X1900 XTX vs the 7900 GTX both cards are roughly the same, better in some areas than others but when you add another card to the equation it's a whole new story. Though this could end up like teh Cat 5.8(or whatever version it was) for the X1800 series, ATi have quite a lot of work to todo...
