not good enough for a gaming rig.

the interesting thing is that i have a friend that has a laptop with a 6600 and another with the same exact charecteristics but with a X700 and the X700 beats the 6600 even with less memory

this D&D laptop is another way to gain easy cash. the art is cool anyway, i wish it was bether.

I maybe mistakened but is this not just a 650 standard with a sticker on the front?

Good review.

I'm sorry but it would never even think of purchasing a laptop with that design on the top, let alone go to a crowded or public place with e.g. Starbucks, Costa etc, you'll be labeled a complete geek, and every time they look at it and you they'll say: "****ing virgin"

And the laptop without the paint finish is pretty poor, is under a grand yes but the whoel value and specs leave a lot to be desired, for example the processor is poor and the hard drive could easily be 100Gb and a 2.0Ghz Centrino at least please...

Not a very good buy I believe... not at all

Well... it doesn't Rock my world, but I suppose it would be a very decent machine for 24/7 torrenting: low power, sufficient storage, WiFi built-in, gigabit and USB2 for file transfers. :p

HERE

1115 - 1056 = £59 difference for the LE and the Standard looks better IMHO.
Tbh, if you really wanted something unique you would DIY - I bet I can make a sticker for under £59.

Is "VAT" the British equivilant of U.S. Sales Tax? (X% on the total purchase.)
