Anyone know if I can connect 2 pc's to it, and change between em by menu buttons?
Great review, as with the 7800GTX review, nice to see that you compare the products to some relavant competitors, something I think many other sites could learn from.
hi all!
I have baught this monitor and I'm not fully satisfied. The problem is: black colors don't distinguish from each other well enough.
I ran this test: http://www.drycreekphoto.com/Learn/Calibration/monitor_black.htm
The first time I see difference is at RGB 15!!! According to the site that's very bad...
I'm a gamer (I mostly play Battlefield 2) and I noticed huge differences there too. Shadows are too dark, way darker than they are suposed to be. I often can't spot enemies because they blend into somekind of dark black background. :s16:
I've tryed a lot of tweaking with it, but it's still no result. Do u have any advice????
i am sorry to bring this post up especially because last post was in 23/12 but i need to ask something that is a bugging me a bit.
I have the vx924 for 2 months now and boy am i pleased. Not that i had a top CRT (Belinea 10 30 20 5 and a half years old with a polaroid filter 17") but the quality was top notch. Better than the CRT. Was a bit dark but in source uping the brightness fixxed it.
What bothers me though is that there is lightbleed all around (lightbleed is when the monitor's back light is being output on the edges all around or that is how i understand it). One can see that when there is black all over the screen (eg in DVD viewing) the top and bottom become almost purple. It does not have any other errors (except a burned green pixel that is way out of the center for me to even notice).
I have not seen that being mentioned anywhere. I am wondering if i am the only one seeing this and hence if i need to RMA my monitor or it is normal for these screens. Do note that i have the 3ms model.
