Its nice to see a prebuilt system that uses Quality components (except for the ram!) and doesn't look like a dogs breakfast inside :)

btw - The discuss link is broken, it links back to the article itself

Same guys who run savastore.com right?

Nice system, shame about the company.

Well put together, not so sure when average joe recieves their system. The companies know which pcs are going to be reviewed and put ALOT more time into those machines. I use to work at a largish PC manufacturer and they used everything to get extra performance/quality out of the system. using hi spec corsiar ram rather than chepo stuff spending 1-2hours tidying the system rather than just rushing it though and even overclocking.

it seems to be that its a bit of an unfair comparison against the bit £600 mid-range pc....

Mainly cos the bit £600 pc clearly doesnt cost £600 when you include an OS, a PSU, A case and all the other little bits ....

comparing a £600 pc against something that would cost more in the region of £700-750 is a bit unfair unless you clearly state it the difference...

other than that, good review, nice to see full system reviews

It's a rough guide of what you get for your money more than anything. System reviews will continue to evolve over time. :)
