I played this on a mates machine when it came out and quite liked it. Very simple but also quite addictive I think for myself I'll wait on a steam sale.
"Maybe times have moved on and realism is king, but sometimes we just want to play a video game for sheer escapism."
Realism Schmealism.
There are too many games being made now by people who think that realism is the most important ingredient for a good game. Good fun gameplay should always take precedence.
Nail'd is really fun and a good game to play when having a few beers with your mates. Nice review.
Bushes of death. Reminds me of a particular car race-game when you hit the sidewalk your car would crash or bounce off. Since I have my drivers license ages ago and tested this in person on different occasions. It is impossible to crash or bounce off to the opposite side of the road. There is two exeptions, 1: the sidewalk is higher then 10cm. 2: you slide sideways against the sidewalk.
In my youth I had a MTB and would race through the woods and on few occasions i crash ride through the bushes although full of scratches on arms and legs I did survive and some times did not fall down on my face. Since this game is using quads and motorcycles I would suspect that those will destroy the bushes.
Unrealistic games (arcade) that wants to be realistic by making sure bushes or made of steel and only painted to gimmick the looks of bushes. Is made by a sadistic programmer thinking this is funny.

'or another activity that may have sprung to mind'
The Olympics? But honestly, if you start including allusions like that you'll find yourself turning into eurogamer.
I'm pretty sure it was on offer somewhere not that long ago for less than a tenner.. can't remember where though and the offer's probably over, but it means that it will probably be heavily discounted before too long. The game's been out since October, so I'm really surprised it's still so expensive.
