From the demo I found this munch better than Bayonetta. The health fountains are admittedly annoying but at least there aren't a million combos to learn and your character isn't completely surrounded sometimes so you cant see where you are.

Less moves is a better thing? Personally, I found all I needed to do with weaker enemies was right-trigger them and press B for a drawn-out insta-kill that baffflingly stopped other enemies attacking you. Harder enemies could be easily trounced by hammering B for a holy barrage, followed by melee button mashing. Nothing deeper than that = Yawn.

Yea I noticed that in the demo, found it utterly boring and the story wasn't any more entertaining. I think they threw in boobs to try and keep people interested tbh.. it didn't really work for me.
Excellent review, Joe. I played the demo and thought, "Yeah, it's alright". The QTE to ride the beast was visceral enough and the actual riding was great fun but if (from the sounds of it) that's all the game offers I can imagine it becoming a dull grindfest of button mashing just to see the - sometimes - pretty graphics.

Um, why don't you just play the review yourself? We'll review the full game, but why bother to do the demo too?

There are them too.
I don't have a PS3 or anything, it just looks quite interesting.
Nope. Unable to secure a copy and we're now past release window, sorry.
Don't you mean "Why you should buy Bayonetta instead of Dante's Inferno?"
And surely, it's a valid question.
Braindead reference.
+500 respect for BT.
