I just read an interview with the creative director of this game, he seems so nice! It's always sad when they try something new and it fails abysmally.
That's an awesome review! Do you think they'll be sending you many more games? :D
I hope so. I've honestly been very impressed with Sega lately - especiall House of The Dead and Madworld. It's just such a shame that Stormrise couldn't maintain that good streak.
Now that's what I'm talking about!
After The Path another review that was fun to read from the first to the last word! Well done! ;)
Now, to the game... or should I say "the torture mechanism on DVD"? Sounds like you guys experienced more terror than you did when you reviewd The Path. It sounded very promising but again, what a fail by somebody who just tried to introduce something new.
Stormrise makes me wonder if CA is running out of wars. The next major war post ETW that still used line formations would be the Civil War. So to counter the lack of wars, they're creating games outside their specialty.

My brother wants to get this for the PC, so I'll have to make sure he gets a demo first (provided you can go through).
On PC it's even worse actually. On Xbox you have a feeling that you are playing a crappy RTS. On PC you have a feeling you are playing a crappy port of a crappy RTS. In fact you ARE playing a crappy port of a crappy RTS.

So, CA went for two major games on the same time frame and failed on both.
ETW is a beta release and Stormrise is an inferior game.
