I'm going to guess the score... 4/10

edit - Ahh, so close...

I was presuming a shite game if the demo is anything to go by. The review just confirms it. :p

What's strange about this game is the fact that, for all intents and purposes, it begins being Burnout. But then you're introduced to so many button combinations to do 'special moves' it becomes a bit overwhelming (swerving to smash into vehicles, bullet time, leaping from one vehicle to another, etc), unless you stick to one or two favourite moves.

In the demo for PS3 at least, the city seems huge but there's not much in the way of waypoints or grand set pieces, so you can't really identify with it and, as Joe puts it, it becomes monotonous and dull.

I find the graphics ok - their quite pretty and move along at a reasonable lick.

Another one of those, 'If you're into this kinda thing..' games.

Well, I love the demo, very long for a demo also, a decent oldskool demo with loads of bugs. :)

I think the whole game is old skool, it just has that arcade feel to it. I don't know about the full game and how fun it would be as a full game though, but that's what reviews are for to an extent. Graphics are nice, basic, but nice, it's what I thought GTA4 was going to look like, and a little bit of me wanted it to look like it too, quite a nice layout (a lot of it is GTA styfle anyway).

It's a great pick up and play game, and is targetted at the casual audience, I forced my Mum to play it and if she can play it, anyone can play it, which IMO is good, but also bad.

Ubisoft Reflections Ltd and their Driver series is way better.

looks good, love the announcement trailer a year ago. shame about what it turned out though, going to try the demo.
