Do the lasers really look like they do in the pictures?

No. They are invisible, resulting in only a red dot where they land - like a laser pointer.

Should this not be "it shone off the board"? Or, "it was shined off the board"?

I bought this after popping into my games shop and seeing it had "lasers" written on it. I'd only had one drink.

It's fun. I tried using a jostick to put some smoke over the board so the lasers would show up. It sorta worked by I did also get a face full on incense!

The lack of lasers could perhaps be solved by adding a cylindrical lens to the lasers. The proper lens will turn it into something like the laser guided saws and levels where a single laser beams is bent at varying angles so that it becomes effectively a flat plane. At this point. the beam will reflect off the pieces just the same but it will also be visible on the floor of the board.

Thats funny last night I was looking at this game at our local game shop... almost bought it... I probably will buy it next week :)

My Khet 2.0 arrived yesterday! But the lasers dont work out of the box :( so rma time and time to wait for my khet to return!
