Yeah, but it's on the playstation and it has good graphics so it'll be platinum by teatime.
I honestly don't think the game looks that good and the Capcom-provided screenshots aren't really all that indicative of the final product. Several people from different publications took a look at the game while I was playing and commented at how it looked like arse compared to other PS3 games.
The script and characters are limper and more two-dimensional than a toilet roll that’s been dropped down the loo and the graphics are about as appetising.
I snorted my hot chocolate reading that
While not the most useful, that was one of the funniest reviews I've seen on here. It does sound like the reviewer was having a seriously bad day though.
Yea, but then again, if a game can make someone angry enough to review a game with that much scorn, it can't be that great :p
I was starting to get the feeling that it was going to be another dud, as soon as I saw that pretty cool trailer my brain alarm that alerts me to games which have too much effort put into advertising went off.
man I wished this would have been better! The concept seems like allot of fun! swinging around a city in multiplayer and having skirmishes against other plays sounds cool!
Does no-one else remember this on the NES many many moons ago, from first seeing the ad on tv, I was praying this would be as good as i remember the original being, if remarkably difficult for my 6 year old self. If you have a NES emu, or for that matter a NES i recomend finding the original Bionic Commando and giving it a go.

The original NES game is available for download on XBLA (bought it a couple of weeks ago) - It's not bad but the lack of a jump button does take a while to get used to. it certainly plays better than the new update looks.

Will give this game a try at some point when there is nothing to play.

Just a shame they screwed up the execution...
