I was put off purchasing the game just by the videos of the active cover system, which just seemed to make gameplay more annoying than useful or immersive. I see that there are other major flaws which make it one to avoid.

As regards Black Ops, i see that the multiplayer bugs made national news on the BBC yesterday with Activision mentioned by name. Hopefully this will finally get fixed.

A game that has no UI and needs manual editing for the mouse to work would be severely broken IMO.

Other reviews weren't this bad though..

I think because the game actually loads up and somewhat functions they can't say it's severely broken control issues I wouldn't say constitute this level of severity. Still the game sounds hopelessly **** and I am so glad I picked Monday Night Combat over this the other week.

Anyone else notice a lack of sound when a building or structure is demolished? The debris falls to the ground in complete silence... Or at least it did when I played on 360.

I quite enjoy the slow paced nature of this game on the xbox, when it lets me in a game that is.

Match making is gash but I like the cover system, wish more games would have them.

Glad I didn't buy this. I was looking at the game yesterday and it just didn't seem good just by reading the case. Turns out my gut was right hehe.

Only people that bought it rated it? And let's face it, dropping any money on a game on Steam, you're not going to admit "yeah, this game I just bought is utter minge".
