"Evil Link Does Demons in Hell" sounds like some f*cked up fanfic anime porn imho. Made me chuckle a little.

Nevertheless, this piqued my interest when I saw it at Steam, I'll give it a shot once the price comes down a little. So thanks for the review.

Edit//:So this is available for consoles as well? I'll see if I can get it for my PS3 then.

Edit2//:16,99€ for PS3 from play.com delivered. Nice.

I just might have to give this ago.

Oh and Windwaker is so much better than Ocarina of Time!

...I may actually grab this soon. Huh. Looks pretty cool.

I assume a 360 pad works natively, or at least is easy to configure?

Works natively. It's an outstanding game.

Brilliant game, enjoyed it on the 360 earlier on the year.

I quite liked the Voice acting (Mark Hamil reprising his Joker voice for the Watcher, and Liam O'Brien who voices Gaara in Naruto / Captain Ukitake in Bleach in his typical monotone voicing War).

Looks like a kickass game, I'll put it on my list of games to buy / play when I actually have time. I'm still playing through Torchlight for the first time ffs, WoW and my other current mania - hand sewing new thermal lining into all the curtains in the house - are taking up too much of my time right now to finish it ;)

It's not on Steam, this is an outrage!
Zabuza 4th October 2010, 13:07 Quote
Yeah, we want it on Steam!

Might get it anyway.

Actually, the 360 version sucks. PS3 version was the best one before PC came out.

I don't mind that much that they do this, but at least let us get to the store page for the bloody game!

EDIT: Aw, ninja'd.

Apparently it's a Steamworks game, so you can add the physical box to Steam.

Although i can't confirm that, it's just been thrown around on the internet when i was searching for it.

I'm confused is this out or not yet? I'm pretty sure I've seen it in Game on the weekend.
Although most sources claim it to be out on the 8th.

And Amazon says its in stock ready for dispatch when ordered.

I've had it for ages, it's been released already.

I've got it on PS3 and PC. I wouldn't say the PS3 version plays poorly at all, it's just the typical diff you get between 720p console games and super-high res many people run their PC games at. The textures look to be the exact same res on PS3 and PC as well, so I was a little disappointed there. You get the odd slowdown on the PS3 and that's about it.

Yea found it now on a few sites, although Gamestation, game, hmv etc still have it as pre-order.

Yep can add cd key to steam (says so in the retail cd-keys support bit) :) so I'm getting it, odd how you can't buy it through steam though eh.

I popped into my local Game and discovered that Darksiders Hellbook Edition has been out for a while (looks like a special edition with art books etc.) but the normal version is exclusive to certain on-line retailers (including the Game website).

Bizarre.

I got this on the 360 recently enough as I had been wanting to try it for ages. I liked the design and aesthetic in it overall and certainly it didn't disappoint.
Initially I found the combat controls a bit fiddly, but once you get to grips with it, it's easy enough.

Nice design, non-repeditive environments, fun combat, decent puzzles, excellent large-scale enemies.

Thoroughly enjoying the game still, I'm spending as much time as I can just wandering around enjoying the view! :D

"you can change resolutions, adjust brightness and fiddle with key mapping and sound levels and nothing else."
Somebody's apparently never heard of the advanced button that exists in the bottom right corner.

Puzzles were good.
Game was overly repetitive.Game was overly repetitive.Game was overly repetitive.Game was overly repetitive.

"don't attempt to play Darksiders without the use of a good joypad"
Why doesn't he know that a keyboard and mouse makes every game better. It's not all twitchy like a joystick.

So far I have disagreed with EVERY SINGLE review that's on here. WAY too biased.
