Oh man, I'm so disappointed. Talk about a missed opportunity.
SH3 was the best one of the lot, living out a Das Boot fantasy, all it needed was more of the interior and a graphics update. Instead they broke it. :(

I don't think the one - ten scale goes low enough for this. It's appallingly bad. My dad bought this the other day, and decided to stick his face in his strimmer whilst shaking his booty in a wasps nest for some relief from this phlegm. I don't blame him.
This is a fantastic result! I'm totally against the Ubisoft draconian DRM, and I'm against pirating as well. So being a complete turkey, has removed any qualms or angst about me not buying this game
On the downside, it cripples the boycotters... are Ubi going to receive the message that such invasive DRM is not going to be accepted by the community or will they simply conclude that nobody bought the game because it was shite. Actually, as per usual, they'll probably conclude that the game is a world-beater but that everyone is pirating it.
Still, I can now look forward to not buying Assassin's Creed instead...
EDIT: Kudos to BT for giving a deserved 2/10 - so many other sites will come to similar conclusions yet still give it 5+.

The Battlestation games are arcade games... which is fine if that is what you are looking for, but they can't begin to be considered sub-sims and thus won't appeal the the core Silent Hunter player.
That sounds terrible. One sub? Running between stations? THAT drm? It sounds like the game is unfinished. As in they got half whay through making it and someone said 'lets just put it out now.' No thanks. I'd rather play 688 Attack Sub!

ReplyUbisoft can go **** themselves after releasing this.
Well that doesn't solve the issue does it. Then you won't get ANY PC games.

Why would you even pirate a game that sounds this bad? Plenty of other games to spend your time on...
really... just... ouch.

Silent Hunter is utterly atrocious. I cant see how it even counts as a game.
That sentence is so epic win. ;) :D
LOL It was this sentence for me:
Damn, it feels nostalgic while being funny as hell :D
Ubi can poke this pile of crap where the sun don't shine.
Even if it was good I wouldn't buy it because I would wnat to play it on my laptop on the move. DRM = FAIL.
are Ubisoft trying to make themselves into the laughing stock of the gaming world?
