@ Natima, I never said I don't like it. ;)
Problem is when two people like the same game that only one computer in our home can run... no... that's not a problem... it's a disaster!
I'm surprised a pirate copy is already out - 2 and a half weeks before release date for a working copy is early. I'll be buying a copy for my sis's birthday, and can see this being no1 for aaages, as much as I think most people on here will disapprove.

It's not really a surprise for a game of such importance*
*nb. not for the usual gamer lot in general. like the wii, the sims has a different audience generally**
**and this is also going to have an unusual effect on piracy IMHO, most people who can pirate it probably aren't going to be very interested in the game, and vice versa... So this'll be interesting to watch...
I'm keeping quiet, but i'm not sure my mother won't ask me to download it if she finds out (though she's buying it regardless, so not a huge issue)
Now only if they were to realease a GOOD successor to SimCity 3000, SC4 was good but it wasn't as great of a game as SC3k, and Rush Hour was a joke, mini-games in SimCity??? Oh why have you sold your soul Maxis?
I think women enjoy playing this game because they can make their "perfect" lives... I would be worried if my gf/wife were constantly checking out of real life to live in their fake one ;)

But it's mainly for building really cool houses
Subtle
Where's Impar with the news of an obtrusive copy protection scheme?
:)

As for the game itself, never could really understood the success of such a game. Was a bit surprised seeing a review of the game in BitTech.
lol, thanks impar ;) One less thing for the mrs to worry about :)
Hope it runs ok on a tablet w/Ati gfx
