There is one good thing about the lack of high profile games, bit-tech finds the time to review games people otherwise never heard of, go small game studios, this is your chance;)
Nice review, sounds like a decent game and at that price I'll give it a try.
Played through it fully, and I've been going back trying to get the 'OCD' scores. In a level, go on the menu, and click 'OCD' to see that level's goal. Some are time-based, some are on the number of moves, or simply the amount of Goo collected. It's quite satisfying to see the level icon hold up a little white flag to you, surrendering once you've thrashed it with your OCD score!
uh ok, so i did the first level, build a tower to the pipe
got the tower to the pipe, got 11 of 4 goos into it
now it just sits here? its not doing anything and there doesnt seem to be anyway to progress to the next level :\
am i just being retarded or is something broke?
also, no way to set resolution within the game? had to go dig up config file to get it out from 800x600 :\

how can you support no res other than 800x600, this is 2008, what the ****
also a little odd it wasnt mentioned in bit's review? :\

Why? The game looks good and is built for the res it's displayed it. You can maximise it and have it run and look fine or you can have it in a window like I did and have it easily hidden from the boss. If a game suffered because of a low res then we might mention it, but this isn't the case for what is essentially a casual game.
When you get the required number of goos through the pipe a big lever should pop down. I don't know why you aren't seeing it.

you dont think its an issue you cant change the res at all? or that it starts 800x600 fullscreen and unless you happen to know that alt+enter switches between windowed/fullscreen you're basically stuck like that
Actually i think the game does suffer from being at such a low res, its much nicer to play at a sensible resolution
i couldnt see the lever cos i had switched the res up to 1680x1050 windowed and the lever was appearing off-screen, not sure how/why that would happen seeing as thats a wider resolution than standard but it must be how its written and thats why they only support 800x600
one interesting tidbit: i'm playing this on a tablet, which is a match made in heaven.
It's an ab-so-lute joy to use this way!
In fact, i think it is so good that it would be a definate value-add for HP or Dell or other tablet builders. 2DBoy should concider offering to sell a mass-license.

Looks fun, and at that price, it'd be rude not to.
Thank you. It's nice to know that my world is rated so high.
Although next time Joe's round, I do wish he'd wipe his feet when he comes in and that he learns to stop leaving coffee stains on the sideboard. ;)
which means the 14th in > 50% of the world :p

Some of the later missions require a screen of a set size to focus the gameplay.
well, i do re-do some of the scenes over and over coz theyr so bloody adorable and challenging........
It does play windowed. On my 16:9 at 1900x1200 it defaulted to be windowed. On my 19" at 1024x1280 it scaled to fill the screen.

It's rather fun going back to a level and trying a different tactic to beating it.
A level editor would be rather cool though.
